Ryan began his journey with dance at a very young age. With Michael Jackson being his biggest influence, through countless family events, and multiple talent shows, he began to discover his talent and passion for dance. Soon after the dance phenomenon known as "Krump" surfaced and completely captivated him as a dancer, with practice and many battles, he decided to perform on a professional standard. Moving to Durham, North Carolina, he began to compete in various battles and showcases. 

Alexandra Joye Warren is the Founding Artistic Director of JOYEMOVEMENT, dance company which began in 2014. Alexandra is a former company member of Christal Brown’s INSPIRIT, and has worked on projects with Germaine Acogny’s Compagnie Jant-Bi at L'Ecole Des Sables in Senegal, Bill T. Jones in development of FELA!,  Paloma and Patricia McGregor's Angela's Pulse, Sydnie L. Mosley Dances, and Van Dyke Dance Group.  Based in Greensboro NC, JOYEMOVEMENT has been presented nationally at venues which include Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello in collaboration with Bree Newsome, La Femme Festival Chicago, North Carolina Dance Festival, Trillium Performing Arts in Lewisburg, WV and at colleges and universities.  A native of the Washington, D.C. Metro area, she received her BA from Spelman College and MFA from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Dominique “B-Boy Ballet” Alexis is a technically informed artist trained in various degrees of street dances, social grooves, and contemporary techniques. He holds a Dance BFA and Drama Minor from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) and is certified in Bartenieff Fundamentals.

From a young age, Alexis learned rhythm & groove from dancing to soul music with his mother. He first entered the environment of a dance studio at the age of 17. Prior to studio training, Alexis mimicked dancers from popular television programs like Soul Train, box office dance movies from the 80s such as Beat Street and Breaking 2, and pop music videos on MTV. Alexis began learning street dancing in the streets and clubs of Texas and North Carolina. Being that street dances and social grooves are virtually uncharted territories for technically sound dance educators, Alexis has had the privilege of providing lecture demonstrations and studio workshops in both the US and the UK.

Alexis has made television appearances on local and national networks, and has performed on stage as both a contemporary and commercial artist. Some of his credits are BET, Universal Studios, and Samsung. Although rooted in the south, Alexis has been fortunate to share his talents, skills, and knowledge in amazing cities across the globe such as New York, Atlanta, London, Orlando, and Los Angeles. In his personal and professional life, Alexis lives by the code  “teaching as a student and learning as a professional.

Bernadine Fields, a native of North Carolina has trained in an array of styles ranging from hip hop, ballet, pointe, jazz., west- african, lyrical, modern and contemporary.  She has been teaching and performing for over 12 years. She first received her training in modern dance at North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem and went on to receive her degree in Dance Education  with K-12 licensure at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
 Bernadine is currently the dance director and department chair for the performing arts at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability where she enjoys teaching  and giving back to the community. She also teaches in several local studios in the triad area and is a regular and guest teacher. Her students from her public school program and studio classes have received scholarships to ADF , Alvin Ailey and AMDA., danced and toured professionally and have been featured on major networks such as FOX, BET and MTV. Bernadine enjoys teaching and performing and strives to push not only her students but herself to the next level. A performer herself, she has had experience in the entertainment industry. She has done work for Disney, TLC network, Fox, and 2 movies-Bolden! and The Show.
Bernadine is the founder of NC Underground (a subsidiary of BF Enertainment LLC) which is an organization that focuses on providing quality training, education, and performance opportunities for dancers of all socieconomic backgrounds and promotes networking amongst aspiring professional dancers in the area.

Natauzsha "Graffiti" Jones, A Native of Washington DC had been dancing and training just about her entire life. She is trained in the ballet , modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop and african styles of dance. She has been performing for over 16 years and teaching for about 7. She holds a Dance BFA from Coppin State University And Is A Proud Member Of Both Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity Inc. And  Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. With Her Ethnic Background Being From Sierra Leone West Africa, She Has Gravitated Towards The African And Hip-Hop Styles Of Dance In Her Career. She Is Currently A traveling African And Hip-Hop Dance Teacher who also choreographs/Dancers for many upcoming african And american artists in the DMV ( DC,Maryland,Virginia) area.

The owner and visionary of Beyond The Steps, Princess Mbanuzue, is a North Carolina native. Combining her industry knowledge, network and Bachelors degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, she developed an entertaining consulting company. Our mission is to help educate, motivate and inspire aspiring talent and provide the necessary tools to navigate the industry. With roughly 10 years in the industry, she has worked with several commercial artists, in film and television.

Princess Mbanuzue, comes from a strict Nigerian household where the world of the arts was heavily prevalent but not looked at as a potential profession. She never let anyone know of her passion to dance. During her colleges years at UNCG, she found every avenue to release her passion until it was inevitable. Upon graduation, she made her transition to Atlanta to invest her last dime into becoming a professional dancer. With faith, prayer, preparation, and persistence she has since traveled the world dancing, modeling, choreographing, learning the industry and building lasting relationships with experts in the entertainment business.  

She was taken under the wings of choreographers that worked and trained her such as Jamaica Craft, Aakomon Jones, Sean Bankhead, Tiffany Burgess, Jeremy Strong, Codie Wiggins, Kennis Marquis, Kiki Ely, Brandon Jones and several others. She has continued to build her resume and expand her career by working, touring and sharing the stage with artist such as Jason Derulo, NeYo, B.o.B, CeeLo Green, Tamar Braxton, ASAP Ferg, T.I., August Alsina, Jussie Smollet and many more. She has traveled the world from North Carolina to Europe, Atlanta to Malaysia, Los Angeles to China, and traveling to 5 of the 7 continents. With training and an extended amount of performance experience in HIP-HOP, and JAZZ-FUNK, CHEERLEADING and AFRICAN

The spectrum of her work ranging from the most tenured professional to the novice performer. Princess wants to assist entertainers take their talents beyond the steps. Shes taking everything one step at a time but her ultimate goal is to Educate. Motivate and Inspire
